either a jays fan at an angel's game, or un-surprisingly an angels fan frustrated with seeing oliver giving up 4 runs in the top of the 9th to break it wide open.

finally nice to see the jays score more than 4-5 runs, and score with RISP and 2 outs. they didn't do it early, but at least they started to do so later on in the game.

i wonder if izturis got a mouthful after that horrid play in the 4th inning  not like that run would have mattered if everything happened the way it happened in the end, but no hustle = NO PLAYING TIME! let's see if he plays in today's game

Last nite's game was a bit stressful to watch, seeing how the bullpen was allowing a lot of baserunners in the late and extra innings. But it was good to see the Jays destroy lefthanded pitching yet again.

Good game last night too. A bit disappointed to see Litsch (sp?) not get the win but at least the team pulled it out. Would be nice to sweep the A's in their house after they did it to us last week.

Looks like Vernon Wells is finally starting to swing the bat better. I was getting ticked off with Overbay for all the double plays he's been grounding into lately but at least he made up for them a bit with the double in the 8th to break the tie.

the jays have been giving up way too many early runs. i don't even remember the last time that the other team hasn't scored at least 1 or 2 runs in the first 2 innings :| they're down 4-0 now with halladay pitching. can't keep having to play catch-up all the time

True. I just wanted Halladay to pick up the win. He pitched a good game. Blue Jays should produce more runs, they got the talent.

I was really disappointed with Frasor's last pitch in the 11th. It was 3-1 count, guy on 2nd and 1st base was open. Catcher set up inside but he threw it right down the middle. With first open, a walk wouldn't be that bad and the last thing he should've done was throw one down the middle. I was hoping to see a 12th inning and eventually sweep the series!

it's frasor.. he hasn't been doing that well this season (in fact he's been pretty bad) and besides.. ultimately it was scott downs who gave up the RBI single, and he's a lefty specialist.

but anyway, all pitchers make mistakes.. disappointed or not we lost the game in the end and that's all that matters ):

Sorry I meant to put Downs, not Frasor.

ah.. i see. then that makes things different  i didn't watch the game on TV, so i wasn't sure which pitcher you were talking about.

i'm pretty sure that downs wanted to get the lefty instead of walking him, i dunno if the next guy was another lefty or not but yeah.. like i said before all pitchers make mistakes.. too bad that the jays were on the wrong end of it ):

You know the Jays are gonna get just close enough to break my heart again this year.

At least they are very entertaining to watch, esp Johnny Mac up the middle.

They know how to do it, but Vernon has had an off year, Overbay was injured for a while and Rios has cooled off in the second half.
Troy Glaus has been bothered by his foot, so he hasn't done much this year.
Wells and Rios need to be more consistent and push across the RBI's.
Lucky the Blue Jays have had such an influx of good, young pitchers, else they'd be battling it out for fourth with Tampa Bay.

Aside:

Orioles suck

*Give up 30 runs in a game
*Get no-hit by a pitcher in his 2nd MLB start.

lol.
