Toronto - Invictus Games events - Sept 23 to 30

Some of the competitions and events as part of the Invictus Games are free to watch (most are ticketed). Great opportunities to support competitors and take in the Games. Check website for up-to-date info because session timings are subject to change.

What is the Invictus Games?
The 2017 event will take place from September 23 to 30 and will see more than 550 ill, injured and wounded servicemen and women from 17 allied nations compete in 12 adaptive sports. The Invictus Games will use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding of and respect for those who serve their country, and their loved ones.

Artists of the COC Ensemble Studio present a program on the themes of war, sacrifice, and overcoming adversity. This heartfelt and moving program is dedicated to the indomitable spirit of the athletes of the 2017 Invictus Games, who are all injured, ill, and wounded active-duty and veteran service members.

Experience the dynamic driving of a Jaguar XE, through a series of smart cones, together with experiencing the off-road credentials of a Land Rover Discovery navigating over a number of challenging obstacles.

Distillery District, 373 Front Street East, Toronto, ON M5A 1G4

Dates and Times:
Sunday, September 24: 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Monday, September 25: 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Tuesday, September 26: 5:00pm – 6:30pm

Slots are allocated on a first come first served basis and participants will be required to show a valid driver’s licence and sign a waiver form provided at the venue before participating.

Thanks Sprung, never heard of any of those bands but will keep an eye out on their twitter for Tuesday and Wednesday bands. Enough going on already with JFL42 anyway.
