Toronto Star digital subscription FREE for 3 months

Deal Link:
I started a thread on this in hot deals, but Mod inexplicably killed it by merging it with a different deal that's expired and locked

Sign up for Toronto Star digital subscription FREE for FIRST 3 MONTHS, credit card required, $7.99 a month thereafter, cancel anytime

https://www.thestar.com/express-checkou ... etro-offer

My guess is they probably have a cap on the number of people who can sign up for this offer and will end it when they reach threshold

Thanks for the tip BUT is this one of the news organizations getting taxpayer monies as a "bailout"? If so, is it really free and more importantly is it without bias?

For people who watch what they "eat", I would recommend using unfiltered sources to get an accurate picture of what is going on out there. A diet of Canadian media funded by us taxpayers will paint a completely different picture than if you turn to reliable sources including watching unedited press briefings from media that are brave enough to provide these.

cspan.org is a great start to know what is going on as it really helps fill in the blanks that are just being completely missed by Canadian media.

CPAC in Canada is the closest equivalent to this but I still find bias in this media that is a little bit disappointing.

Your public library likely already has a digital subscription through Pressreader that you can log in to and read from home, that you are already paying for with your property taxes. Vancouver Library does and I'd be very surprised if any GTA library system doesn't also.
