I read all papers to be informed of what is happening. It's always good to read all perspectives.

people take your issues with the media to the political forum. We simply can't have every deal related to news organizations derail into the usual rhetoric. It's not only a real buzz kill but more importantly it disincentives people from sharing deals - the whole point of this website.

Opening in Incognito or Private Browsing mode lets you bypass any of those limits

If you're an avid reader on the thestar.com, Toronto Star is offering a free subscription for post-secondary students. If you've already graduated but still have access to your school email address, then you can still receive this free offer.

This offer will also extend to faculty until October 31, 2019.

Downvoted. I have been reading Toronto Star stories for some time. I don't like the quality, in recent years. Even if the deal is free.

Say what you will about The Star, but no other newspaper in Canada offers such extensive and influential investigative pieces.

it's a free deal...
you don't pay $

how come so many people downvote?
is it because they are not post-secondary students, which is something on the title?

They're down voting the Star, not the deal.
