The flights have 1 stop each way, in Lisbon, Portugal.

Israel was planning to open up to fully vaccinated Canadian tourists starting on July 1st, 2021. This has been delayed until at least August 1st due to variant concerns.

Availability for travel

November 2021, January, February, March 2022

This is a great price and I will visit Israel whenever I want. No one here will tell me where I can and cannot travel.

Just a warning to those visiting Israel - if you have an Israeli stamp on your passport then you might be rejected at the border of an Islamic country.

That is a good airfare. Would we need a test to/from Portugal on the way and back to Israel. Can we visit the holy land sites or are they off limits due to the current situation ?

So we actually only have two full days, I'm afraid it's too short. Any one knows how long should we stay there?

Not sure if it's still the case but when I went, the border officer offered to stamp a separate piece of paper instead of my passport for this reason.

Also, TAP has a good free stopover policy in LIS. One may find even better rates with a 1-5 nights in LIS in either/both directions.
