Toronto Wolfpack?
After watching the final match yesterday on TV and seeing a packed stadium where I heard they were turning people away at the gates, I thought I'd come on this forum and see people discussing the incredible rise of the Toronto Wolfpack, but there seems to be just crickets chirping away!
I read an article stating that hipsters in Toronto are taking to rugby football, perhaps it'll take the rest of the public a bit longer to pick up on the city's latest sporting champions. The Wolfpack have sure made fans on the other side of the Atlantic take notice of what they have done in such a short time. I get it though, football (soccer to some) is my sport of choice, but seeing a Canadian rugby team earn the right to play in the Rugby Super League next season and be the first team from outside of Europe to do so made me take notice.
Anyone else watch the game?
