I'm mid 30's....wonder if I could take a pic with a random baby and say I had a child when I was 16 and my kid did the same.

Different info in same place. From same link to clarify the asterisk:

"Discount valid instore only for 10% off when you show a photo of your grandchild and 15% off when you sign up for R Club. Discounts not combinable. Offer valid Sunday, September 10th only."

Imo, easy to argue if needed.

Unlike Target, TRU actually has decent deals for Canadians. Their selection is good too. I'd rather they stay afloat, would be sad to see them go.

Alternatively, you can show them a photo of a random child and still get same discount.
