These prices arent that great. Walmart has had some of the fun packs for $5.96 a couple weeks ago.

Several still are at that price. just checked last night! I am waiting for a much lower price point on these. I bought at few at $5.96 for xmas but want the story packs at $14! :)

I didn't go for the fun packs as I know they will drop further in price. But I did pick up Ghostbusters Story Pack alongwith Mission Impossible & Sonic level packs using Reserve & Pickup at Toys R Us & Best buy. Plan to get into it this xmas with the kids.

What team packs are good or not good?

Honestly, just buy the packs that you think you'd enjoy. Also, I got all the levels packs, and at least one character from each franchise, that way you unlock the most content in the game. I've made a point of NOT buying them all... (yet).
