[Toys R Us] Xbox one X $251 at Toys R Us

Just bought it today, January 25-2020 in Kelowna, last one. Clearance price is $359.98 then they had a take an extra 30% off today so came to $251.99
It doesn't come with a game but for that price who cares. Cheers!

That's going to need a pretty big YMMV tag in the title...

Not sure what that means? Can you explain as I see that in a number of titles but have no idea.

Thanks guys, makes sense! Maybe with that receipt pic they will honor the price though, but who knows.

With the next gen on the way at the end of the year, the last thing I'd be doing is buying something that takes up TV real estate. But that's me.

A good deal is a good deal.

All Microsoft next gen exclusives will be playable on Xbox one for the next few years so lifespan of the X is still pretty good.

From article:

In an interview with MCV, head of Xbox Game Studios, Matt Booty, has said that as “content comes out over the next year, two years, all of our games, sort of like PC, will play up and down that family of devices.” The plan is that “if someone invests in Xbox between now and [Series X] that they feel that they made a good investment and that we’re committed to them with content.”

Yeah, that's usually how next gen cycle's start off. With reports of how powerful these new consoles are, I wouldn't go near the current "Most powerful console ever created".
