Tracking device on new vehicle

One of my local dealerships is installing what seems to be some sort of tracking device on new vehicles. The name on the estimate was called KYCS Global. Doing a search seems to indicate that it's a Bluetooth IoT device that functions similarly to Apple's Find My network. Other names associated with this thing are Global iFind and RSR Global.

Does anyone have any further insight into these things?

Secretly or people pay for this? Who cares about tracking their car? I'd rather not have my car back after junkies did whatever inside it. Insurance will pay for a new one.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
