I just purchased a car from auctions in calgary and I am located in MTL.
Is anyone familiar with transportation options and cost?

did you made the purchased online? dont you need a dealer licenses?

If u wana drive u can get transit permit from the auction dealer ..Alberta have transit permit..or otherwise u can talk to Livingston, Hansen,Kee West,MVS Canada ,ABR shipping, Auto rail for shipping the car to Montreal should be around 1300-1500 the cheapest one..

$34,000 in damage?! The car is worth maybe 40K in driveable shape.

If you drive dangerously I hope you get caught and lose your license/car/dignity!

9350$ the final price with 20% autoimpact takes comes to 11k total.
for parts I checked on ebay and 2-3kmax .. for the repair its free since I have contacts soo lets say max 15k for a car worth 35k on market now.

Its a salvage title vehicle even after repair it won't sell anywhere close to 35k

2-3k?..are you using cans of spray paint to paint it with after?...a 35k car has to have a paint job to make it look 35k..and ..i think you have a bit more than 3k in parts for repair..in thinking almost 5k..then your paint which will be about another grand at least for quality paint..another 2k to get it to montreal..then anything unforeseeable..you are now over 20k ...good luck on much more if you are going to flip a salvage title..and i have had difficulty insuring salvage with collision coverage...you may be driving it for a while..

You have pretty much summed up for op. But i think in Quebec its easy to get insurance on salvage title as compare to other provinces.
