travelling to new york city NYC - best data / sim?

I'm on Koodo which costs $12 per day to use my current plan. I will be in NYC for less than a week. What's the best thing to do for data? Would love to hear your recommendations!
Thank you

I've used Airalo and Knowroaming e-sim in NYC. No problems with either.

I used A T &T when we were in Florida. Just walked into a store and they set me up. 30 days talk text 5G was around $45 U.S. They had cheaper options
I'm with Koodo as well

I've had good luck with Airalo.

I had some issues with Knowroaming but it was a long time ago. They could have improved.

Also roamed with Koodo. As you said, a bit expensive at $12 but it does work well.

Jethro Mobile SIM cards sold on amazon.ca for US usage has worked well for me.

Dear all,
Decided to go with a Jethro sim for an upcoming US trip. I have an unlocked iPhone 13. When I replace the Telus sim with the Jethro sim I assume I will no longer receive calls to my Telus number. Will I still receive iMessages and FaceTime to my Telus number? Should I add the Jethro number to iMessages and FaceTime? Should I add my email address to iMessages and FaceTime?

Thanks in advance
