[TravelZoo+Costco] Discounted Cirque du Soleil tickets

Price:

Savings:
40-60% off
Expiry:

Travel Zoo's Cirque de Soleil discount (up to 50% off when booked by June 30) can be stacked with Costco's Cirque de Soleil $100 gift cards ($79.99 each, 20% discount) when booking on cirquedusoleil.com (Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg).

For example, $149.25 tickets to Alegria in Toronto can be had for $102 with Travel Zoo (32% discount), or $81.99 with a Costco gift card (47% discount).

I didn't see any unsold $35 seats, but in theory three seats could be purchased for $84.99 instead of the usual price of $70.25 each (60% discount).

I bought the gift cards from a warehouse, but there are also digital codes available.

It looks like Aeroplan members may also be able to get 3X points on gift cards purchased from Costco.ca with promo code AERO3 until June 16th.

I think if its like the previous deal the 35 dollar tickets would have a 13 dollar fee. Which would be 48 dollars a ticket..

For me (in London) travel zoo redirect me to the local vender (budweisergarden). And on the checkout page, I don't seen any option for gift card.

Not as sweet of a deal as the anniversary sale.
With the promotion and the Costco certificate I payed $79.99 with $4 remaining on the gift card for 2 seats in the L row of the blue section that are worth $124.25 each.
10 days before the show I got an email with this title “Vivez le spectacle Alegría sous un nouvel angle !” which offer to upgrade the ticket for 20$ per seats.
I decided to upgrade and totally payed $58 per seats considering the Costco gift certificate price and got 2 seats in the BB row of the red section that are worth $156 each.

Now that I upgraded, the seats I had previously got available and when I look with the Travelzoo link they would cost $91.25 each when I payed $48 each with the anniversary sale. Even with the Costco gift certificate it’s still $82.50 more than what I payed for the blue seats and

Don’t get me wrong, for the quality of show you are getting compared to most other entertainment you get well worth your money even for $91.25 per seats. I feel really lucky getting seats in the front for so cheap.

Groupon also has some links to the Cirque anniversary sale and there are $35 tickets available (but further away)... the same seats I got from the anniversary sale is showing as $71...

I think it's much better than the travelzoo link

Did anyone have issues using Costco cirque GC for the cirque Groupon deal? There’s still a deal for the allegria Toronto that ends today. I got the coscto gc, activated it, but keeps on showing as 0 when I pay: called cirque and they said that it’s groupon thus cant use the Gc.

You can check your balance here, gc might not be activated yet.

It was activated and cirque confirmed it too. But they can’t help me as to why it was showing as 0 when paying using gift card.

Late response but perhaps it will help someone else.
After you activate the Costco gift cards (on Cirque website) proceed to the payment page.
You’ll need the gc number and the security code (check Costco email). When you key the card number it will show as $0
To the right of $0 click “edit”. Enter gc amount as $100 and it will apply the credit to your balance.

Just worked for me. After countless tries and a couple useless phone calls.
