Trex Decking Composite

Anyone have feedback on this? I have existing posts/joists, just wanted to remove the floorboards and replace with composite. Starting to get splinters and wear. Has anyone replaced old wood with trex composite? Or is there a competitor to Trex that is just as good or better?

check your joist spacing too. it may not be as simple as replacing the boards. I think composite needs something like 12" between joist.

Have no idea about the spec or installation requirement, but I have a new deck done last year with Trex Transcend material. Looks great and happy with the result. Of course, I cannot comment on long term durability at this time.
