trouble with carpet cleaner, doesnt spray

I have an old bissen proheat model that doesnt spray. I replaced the water pump and checked all the hoses including cleaning the heater block.
I checked for blockages by blowing into the tubes and everything seems good.
Yet, I turn the machine on press the button and nothing...
Theres no spray.
The handheld brush works fine, it has a nice spray of water coming out so the pump is working as it should.

Am I overlooking something?

I know you checked the hoses but did you check the nozzles?
Sometimes all you need to do is poke each one with a pin.

Yes, I checked them and they are not plugged.

So what I would do is take it apart again. Put power directly to the water pump and see if it sprays out the nozzles. If it doesn't. Then why? Is the pump working? Is there some internal leak? If it works. Then check the wiring from the button to the pump/maybe button no good? Jump it.

Seems like just common sense break it down into smaller parts of a whole.
Maybe you don't have water?

I mean you write down you press the button, how do you know the button works...... Did you test it with a meter for contnuity?
