True "Hands Free" Android phones?

So how many phones actually respond to "Ok/Hey Google" when the screen is off and then smoothly let you execute commands?

My Pixel XL does. I would assume all Pixels do. I think even my old Nexus 6P does it too. I just need to enable "Say Ok Google any time" under voice settings.

The only thing is you also need to enable unlock using voice as well to have it fully work with screen off. Being somewhat security paranoid, I don't like enabling that though.

People will believe what they want to believe whether fact or fiction.
'tis most frustrating when they aren't open to see and/or learn which is which.

The original Moto X could, so anything in their lineup should be checked.

I thought that my Moto G5 Plus had a second (Moto-specific) control for this from when I first set it up and disabled it, but now that menu seems impossible to find.
