Do you have to get TurboTax and not other software?

Canada, Eh!!
Online they go back to 2015

https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/co ... /00/873703

Send them email... they still might unofficially have 2014 and before.

Try this https://ww1.2013.turbotaxonline.ca/ but most likely replaced by 2015.
2022: BOC raised 7 times and MCAP raised its prime next day.
2017 to 2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime next day each time.
2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited to drop its prime to include all 3 drops.

No, no really but I have only used TurboTax before, just a bit intimidated to try something new, are they all pretty similar?

Did you mean Quicktax? I thought they changed name to TurboTax before 2013, will have to double check.

Thanks! I will try ... apparently even if you are able to download 2015 and new, it currently costs $0 but you will be asked for an activation key which will also be tricky to find. but I should try emailing them.

No, I have Quicken Home and Business 2013 financial management software so might be able to help if that was what you're looking for. It's totally different from the annual TurboTax return filing software although it's from the same provider (Intuit).

For simple situation, yes. Try Studiotax.

I'd recommend Studiotax - they go back that far.

Need advice -

I'm renting and paying cash, Landlord does not provide any receipt for rent. So is it advisable to claim taxes based on the rent amount?

TIA

Nope imho. But CRA normally wont check so it is up to you now.
Tried new coffee and doughnut. Found same old stale thing. expected bill of six bucks but it was 600 million. Big mistake so the guy said don't worry it is on the house. going back to McD.
