Typical reduction in value (price) for accident (but fixed) car?

I'm looking at buying a 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature.
Found one I like but carfax shows a rear ender with "moderate" damage a year ago.

That has obviously been repaired, but it will be on carfax forever.
I assume that will reduce the value of the car if I ever want to sell it in the future and maybe I should offer the dealer less.

Trouble is that there are not many 2019 CX-5 signatures on the market in the colour I want and this one has quite low mileage which makes it desirable.

Unless I saw the repair invoice to see the extent of the damage myself, I would pass on this vehicle. Especially since it sounds like the dealer is pricing it the same as ones that have not been in a collision.

It's a Mazda, not a collectible 911... don't get emotional about it and wait for a better sample...

By "obviously been repaired" do you mean it's obvious, in person, that this car has been in an accident and evident it has been repaired (i.e. not so great a repair)?
or
Should be obvious to us, the readers, that the car would be repaired if it is for sale now?

In the former you should probably move on. In the latter, if the repair is actually good and you don't really notice it or care about it having been repaired as long as it was done properly? I'd say cash in on the savings and take a moderate accident vehicle. Of course there have to be savings. If it "reduces the value when I go to sell it", you shouldn't care much if you got it cheaper to begin with.

Thanks for the comments.
Decided to take one with higher mileage but a clean carfax report.
That one was also 2K cheaper.
And since we only drive about 8K kms a year rather than the average 20K kms, this will be a "low kims" vehicle in a few years.

In a related note, I also saw a Carfax Report and it states that the car has accident/damage report: Claim other damage: $700. Anyone know what 'other damage' mean? Is this a cause for concern?
