They may have changed something. I tried looking at this when OP posted for my 2020 Nissan Rogue and it was $164.95 and now when I try it’s $196.91. It does not give me multiple options of hitch. It’s still not charging tax but sure would love to shave that $32 off.

So I had a bad experience with U-haul, had a hitch ordered for a camping trip, gave them 2 weeks before my trip, they kept having shipping issues to the store, sent the wrong hitch etc. The kicker, they never once told me they rescheduled, just that they didn't have the right hitch. They booked my install while I was away for a week camping without me knowing. I had to fight them for a refund but they kept insisting that I booked the appointment (My trip was booked 5 months prior) I never would have scheduled it while I wasn't in town.

This was the Taunton rd location in Oshawa. The reviews are scathing at that location.

pay full price :)
lol, it's a stripper model Q5 with a $400/month lease. Probably less than most of the other cars being posted here.

I'm not surprised. U-Haul is the king of bad experiences!

You're letting a minimum wage employee rip apart your car so results can vary!

My truck does have the factory bumper towing capability, but max tow capacity is only 2000 lbs.
Now I’m good for 5000 lbs, or 8000 distributed, all for $225 installed.
I’m happy!
Thanks OP!

My daughters 2017 Kia Sportage would cost around $160 for the hitch itself, but install kills the deal, as it’s more than the hitch itself lol.

I installed two of those. The second one was easier... And passing the wire from the trunk to the battery was a REAL fun, not!
What are you talking about?
You don’t run any wires from the trunk to the battery!
You clearly haven’t installed anything have you?
