The deal here is the hitch. That mounts your specific make and model vehicle.

"All the other options" are universal parts you can get for less or used really cheap:
balls, ball mounts, trailer jacks, wiring...
If I robbed the place I would be out by now....

Might be a more complicated install on the Kia.
My Dodge pickup is only $45 install, while her Kia is $166.

That proves you have a trailer wiring kit, congratulations.
It still doesn’t get run from the trunk to the battery, which proves what I said in my last post.

Check out e-trailer for the install. Doesn't seeem like it would be too hard on the Kia. I would just buy the hitch and install myself. Get her to help and it should be fine. Looks like its just 4 bolts to go into the frame. Easy as it can get.

If you can get it sanded off and spray paint with matching rustoleom paint you're good.
If you can't get to it and and it then use paint that can stop / seal rust. Best is to give it a sanding.

Make sure you buy sandpaper for metal.
Make sure you cover the parts of the car near the rust when you spray paint.

Sand off the rust and give it a few coats of black rust paint.

Thanks for that.
Within the u-haul site, there are some deals on carrier accessories like this:
https://www.uhaul.com/MovingSupplies/Wh ... go-Basket/ $233

Compared to the price on US sites, it's a great price. It's as though the Canadian prices are based on a much better exchange rate than the current one.

For my vehicle price came out to 145. For 80 bucks more (including tax) you can future proof and we can get this one which fits other vehicles/your next vehicle or if you need to use for somebody else.

Edit: also regardless of multi fit hitch above princess auto is having a sale starting next week for trailer cargo attachment all different kinds

Which is more universal, a square or rube, for a bike rack? I'm going to get a 2" one for my 2020 CRV
