Thanks for the update! I also edited the post to include the code now. Got excited to post that I forgot to mention it. Face With Tears Of Joy

I'm ordering directly from local restaurants now since food delivery services take a sizable cut (usually 30%) from every order. It's hard enough for restaurants to survive as is.
Blowing all savings from RFD on deals from RFD 😂

What's up with the ten percent service fee? I was pumped to try uber eats when I saw they were doing free delivery but after putting together a 100 dollar order it added 10 bucks! When I'm tipping 15 percent during these crazy times there is no way I'm giving uber eats ten percent. Is the extra ten percent always added even when there are 4 dollar delivery fees?

I am okay with uber charging service fee. But I am not okay with team taking money from restaurant so restaurants have to raise the price.

At the end of the day, we have to pay service fee, delivery fee, tips and over-priced food.

I find Uber excessive to take a 10% service fee, on top of delivery fee and then a further 30% cut from the restaurants.
All the promo code they give out becomes irrelevant after all the "fees" are factored in.

For everyone complaining about the service fees, the code also works for pickup orders. No service fee for pickup

Then do pick up. No delivery fee, no service fee, no tip.
Also I found that for a couple restaurants, the price actually went down if you switched from delivery for pick up.
all those fees with tip add up to over $5 for your $12 meal.

Most but not all restaurants raise prices on food delivery apps to compensate. Just be aware.

This takeout day isn't going to help either. It'll make things worse. Very stupid promo going on during a very stupid time in history.

Glad this promo will somewhat lighten the numbers going into places to pick up.

This is RFD the actual complaint by everyone is that they WANT 20% off meals plus FREE delivery but $0 delivery fees, $0 service fees and $0 tip. No exceptions.
