It usually doens't make sense to do this with lower priced items for B1G1 as your discount is only on the cheap item itself while your delivery fees and service fee are the same.

People need to stop quoting that amount. According to this recent CBC article it is 7.5% until end of year and 15% next year on deliveries. No fee for pickups.

That 7.5% is for restaurants that have their own drivers (it will be 15% after this yr), meaning you can place a delivery order thru Uber but the driver is from the restaurant & not a UberEats driver. That service just launched in September, but almost no restaurants use it, of all the Uber orders I ever placed, only 1 restaurant used this service where they were employing their own drivers & not UberEats drivers. For that service the restaurants do get charged a lot less than regular UberEats delivery, which is 30% for most restaurantsMikeNet wrote: ↑ People need to stop quoting that amount.
