it's on purpose since they're giving you a credit equivalent to cost of one item and not discounting the actual item. just like how car manufacture rebates you have to pay tax on because it's not a straight discount
The Burrito Boyz near me always has BOGO on Uber Eats, but they usually force you to pay the upcharge for a combo, which sucks. This time around, they're doing a legit BOGO, just with reduced offerings (only chicken and steak burritos, no quesadillas, RIP). Still, you can get 4 chicken burritos for $24, which is decent savings.

It's not bad if u get greek. Souvlaki dinners are HUGE even if u get the smallest size and maybe around $12-$15. Just get 4 souvlaki dinners for around $25
