Uber Eats weekly promotions

Not sure if anything exists for this topic as an ongoing thread. It could technically be an ongoing deal threat but I couldn't figure out how to start one of those.

I've been getting pretty consistently 30 or 40% off five orders. I noticed nothing yet for this week. Unfortunate because I have those Costco gift cards at 20% off that I have not yet loaded to my account.

It would be good to know if and when the Uber discounts dry out by keeping tabs on what other people are getting hence the reason for my post.

So does anyone have one this week?

I bought and redeemed the Costco gift cards and have the usual 5x 40% off when you spend $40+ offer. Valid until Feb. 20th.

What % of the time do you get these? Youre an Uber one member i gather.

Id say im getting it 85% of the time.

Almost every week like clockwork. I only sign up for Uber One when I know I'll be ordering a bunch. My last subscription ended about 2 weeks ago.

i found that after i joined uber one with one year, they stop giving me discount in last 2,3 weeks :-(

This is going to be highly YMMY.
Overall my casual observation is that deals are given to people without credit balances, and have not used it for a while (the longer the better). Of course their algorithm cant exactly be predicted but that's the pattern that I have seen for the family.

Our UE Accounts:

Spouse's account had $1.25 Uber Cash balance and last ordered Sep 2022; max received last few months = 40% off multiple delivery orders and Uber One 1 complimentary month trial popped up in Feb 2023

- used 40% off for 1 order with UO trial in Feb/23

My account had $0 Uber Cash balance and last ordered Oct 2022; max received last few months = 40% off multiple delivery orders and Uber One 1 month complimentary trial popped up in Feb 2023

- used 40% off for 1 order with UO trial in Feb/23

Was holding out for 50%, however we caved since Uber One was free for 1 month.

Update

I was getting 30 or 40% regularly up until February. Last month I got one week of 30% off.

I do have the monthly uber one, and never seen that being an issues to getting promos.

I did buy gift cards from Costco deal, But never loaded them onto the account.
