I have the same promotion, but be careful of the fine print: offer is for 30% off a maximum of $20, and only applies to orders of $50 or more.

This is one of many reasons why Uber is a dishonest company. The reality is, the maximum possible discount from this promotion is actually 12% ($6 off of a $50 order). This doesn't even cover the delivery fee, most of which is hiding as a separate 10% charge under the "taxes and fees" category of your order. The "delivery fee" of $1-$5 (depending on the restaurant) is in addition to this 10% "service fee". As others have mentioned, on top of this, they skim off 30% of the total order from the restaraunt itself, which is brutal.

You’re reading the fine print wrong, it’s says “valid for a maximum DISCOUNT of $20”. This means that the 30% off is only valid up to purchases of approximately $67 which would total a discount of $20 as 67x0.7= approximately $47 ($20 discount). They are not trying to cheat you in any way, unless you’re buying uber eats of more than $67 in which case you would probably need some therapy.

You only get this if you ordered using last week's 25% off one order promo code. It was written in the print and in the post made on redflag

Not sure why this is being posted as a standalone deal as you needed to have ordered last week to get this promo activated on your account. People who have probably already know they're getting 25% off this week and people who haven't are just going to go ''wtf I didn't get it'' for nothing.

I made a $100 order last Friday. But it was for 5 people.

It is a very small sweet spot though. Spend exactly 67 to get 30 per cent off. Any more or any less and the percentage off dives quickly. Hate these kind of scammy promotions that are common to uber and lyft also.

Also, bill goes up quickly if you're not just ordering fast food lol. Real restaurants are not cheap!

Uber definitely has questionable business practices, but the 30% off doesn't dive off if you spend less than $67. If you spend $30, $40, $50, etc, you still get the 30%. Its only if you spend over $67, that you no longer get any discount above the $20. I generally avoid Uber, they take 30% from the restaurants (which in turn leads to some restaurants raising their prices vs in-store prices), & have multiple fees that really add up (delivery, service, & tip). I'd rather just order direct from the restaurant
