Seems like Uber Eats is fighting for market share with Just Eats (Skipthedishes) and to a less extent DoorDash... Interesting, I just got an email but for only 25% off and none of the 30% off codes work. I wonder if it's because I just signed up for the free trial of the Uber Eats Pass which gives you 5% off.

I am very thankful for these discount codes due to being under mandatory quarantine. Combine it with a free trial of Uber Pass and it is solid for quarantiners.

30% off isn't enough as that's basically just covers the fees and delivery charge

Will combine with pickup and then it's sort of ok

Your math is off. People do use uber eats at full price (shock) fees are 10%.

Some tricks to get decent value:
-choose a restaurant that doesn’t mark up or gently marks up (double check their official website many restaurants post their menus)

-there are restaurants that waive delivery fees for sharing a driver, scroll down in the app it’s usually 5 restaurants that refresh every 10-15 min (although in downtown Vancouver delivery is 99cents mostly)

-get uber eats pass, free trial for a month that discounts service fee and waives delivery (pretty easy to break even if you use them often)

-click the “promos” tab often times restaurants those in freebies or discounts that stack or have a order 10x get something deal

These codes didn’t work for me but sometimes ubereats does toss out good deals. The whole tomatoe. Tomatoe deal was pretty generous
