Uber US gift card - is there a way to purchase from Canada?

A friend of mine recently lost her husband and in lieu of flowers, and also travelling to the US for the funeral as that's not financially possible, I'd like to send her an UberEats gift card so her and the kids won't have to worry about food for a couple of nights. But the website won't allow me to do that. I've hit them up on their socials to see if someone will help, but then I thought that our community might have an idea on how to get it done as well.

So any thoughts RFD'ers? Or any better suggestions than Uber?
