Thanks OP, I took advantage of this. I have several tax returns already in Ufile and it's a waste of time reentering everything into Studiotax.

Ufile is consistent, easy to use and produces the most professional tax return reports by far, which is important if you preparing returns for clients.

Use the voucher code UFAB89FADQ to save another $5 off.

If you are going this route might as well get the best price.

how is UFile compared to TurboTax?
(I'm not looking to try free softwares)
I definitely don’t need one, so I’ll do the right thing and pick one up on my way home. 😎

**Just pick one and don't loot** 😠

Just to fast-forward this thread a bit:
"question about why people wouldn't use free software"
"answer explaining why people prefer paid software, including doing returns for their entire home city apparently"
"suggestion of simpletax"
"question about simpletax's privacy since they've been purchased by Wealthsimple"
"I'm not concerned about privacy since their latest news release"
"wait, why are we talking about software that costs money again?"
"why downvote just because it's not the deal for you? someone might want it"

Just to chime in, I used Ufile for many years. Started Simpletax last year. Simpletax is just better in every way. My tax return is not the super simple kind. I have rental properties, spousal, etc.

Free does not mean indicate quality in any way. It just indicates its free.

awesome. thx. beats the 15% code Ufile emailed me. Was hoping it'd stack, but it just replaced the other code.

Simpletax is so good, I would gladly pay for it. No other tax software even comes close.
