Undulations on sidewalls

Was looking at a new set of tires at a good price on Kijiji but the tires had some undulations on the sidewalls. They had never been mounted so I was wondering if these go away when inflated?

Pretty hard to tell without a picture. But my guess would be no. It's just cosmetic and won't affect the performance of the tire.

The sidewalls should be completely straight along with the bead of the tire, ESPECIALLY because it's new.
I wouldn't touch them.

I would think they are fine, that was likely caused because he had them stacked on each other or something. I have yet to read anything that says that would be a major issue but I guess ask your tire guy but I doubt it will be a problem.

Well I bought them and had them installed by my mechanic and he said there would be no issues. The tires look great installed and zero issues so far and the ride is great

Good to hear. I would only be concerned if you can see those undulations when the tire is mounted and inflated.
