Unifi USW-PRO-24-POE as base network switch

As part of my new home build, I'm installing all new network infrastructure with essentially an unlimited budget. I'm looking at enterprise-grade equipment since I no longer want to deal with potential failures and tweaking. Would a managed L3 switch be good as the base switch for infrastructure since it'll power all my PoE cameras, and wireless access points? NAS will be a Synology 1821+.

I have this as my main switch with a UDMP and 2 APs connected with other wired connections connected to it. No issues that I can recall with my network.

Why not get the switch directly from Ubiquiti? Its in stock and cheaper than Memory Express

Can you "manage" the switch on your own? Ie, setting up the VLANs and doing the routing?

If so, go for it.

How unlimited are we talking about? It'd be a good time to run 10gbps.
You'd still need a PoE switch for cameras though.
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

I'm thinking the setup you have is what I want. USW 24, UDMSE, 2x U6, 2x G4 Pro. Memory express is local, so they have the advantage of being able to pick up when needed.

Nope, I'm a CPA, not a CCNA. I figure hiring someone for 4 hours @ $150/hour to configure the network will be worth it. As Murtagh says: "I'm too old for this sh!t"

I figure $10k should do it. Run the cables using 6/6A, switch most devices using the USW 24, route G4 bullets to a UDMSE, route 1 RJ45 to each BR and office routed through a 10GB Flex XG.

With that kind of setup you should be good.

Make sure you get the 10gbps SFP+ direct attach cables to connect the UDMSE and USW24 together.
