[UNIQLO] Roger Federer RF DRY-EX POLO SHIRT - 40% off ($49.90 regular, now $29.90)

Uniqlo Roger Federer polo - same colourblocking as his March 2021 matches aka Doha. On sale for both green and off-white colours as worn in March 2021. Surprising to see Federer gear on sale; back when he was with Nike they never made enough of his merch to linger on store shelves for discounts.

If you look on eBay, the green polo was being sold for USD 70-80 as recently as May. Good on Uniqlo for making his merch more accessible.

If you wait long enough, I'm guessing his Wimbledon 2021 and upcoming Olympic Tokyo 2020/1 looks will go on-sale too.

EDIT: Kids French Open 2021 Federer polo also on sale for $20.

The polo from the site photos look like it widens at the bottom. Good find nonetheless, but the big logos are no bueno for me.

Fits short and wide.

This is very cheap for a tennis polo, let alone one worn by Federer recently. Great deal.

Anyway, I just saw the polo on an Instagram Uniqlo ad and was surprised by the discount. If even one person picked up the polo at discount because of this thread, its done its job.

Keep in mind it is Uniqlo vs Nike too. Can't really compare the two, even if Uniqlo makes decent clothes and uses good technology on these shirts. Plus the colorways and logos are kind of...

It's like wondering why Klay Thompson Anta shoes never sell or are worn anywhere. Good find though, especially if you're a Federer fan.

Please be aware that “sale” item is not refundable in Uniqlo.

Also Uniqlo has one of the worst return policies in my opinion. Online order not returnable in store. But exchangeable.

Don't forget they charge like $10 restocking fee if you order online and send it back to the warehouse.

Out side of being Federer-branded goods, is the material any good? Worth buying even without being a "fan"?

I could see how someone might get me confused with a Uniqlo POS employee on the tennis court

I actually have two pairs of KTs. KT2 Outdoor Low and the KT3 Black Panther edition. They're great indoor court shoes.

Outside of the Way of Wade sub-brand, I think Chinese sneaker brands will always have difficulty breaking into North America when they're not available in-store. I didn't mind being an early adopter when they were available online.

I like Federer but all Uniqlo athletes gear look like they belong to Japan's little league baseball team.

Sorry, what do you mean by this.
Are you saying that the photo above with the shirt above does not match the one that is on sale?

I bought both pairs off Famujisneakers. They have everything from KT2 to KT6 (?) and all the lows, outdoor models, etc.

Klay being injured the last two years kinda killed the positive momentum in his signature line.

The shirts sold by Uniqlo do not have the RF logo on them.

The problem with this is shirt is that you wear it to the courts and people go "Hahahahaha, get a look at this guy, he thinks he's Federer".
