Eastern Canada to Tokyo from 512$ (Jan/Feb/March)

Just found some dates from Eastern Canada (Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec) to Tokyo in january, february and march for 512$ and up on united airlines. You can also fly from other eastern cities (Halifax, Moncton, Charlottetown, St John's or Fredericton) for 700$
Okay those 512 deals are killers as they have some looooong layover(total travel times of 20+ hours) but you can find other for a bit more money 590$ that takes 17 hours and flying the long leg on ANA rather than United such as this one. (https://flights.app.goo.gl/G1bbn).
Not ideal for people living in Toronto or Montreal as AC has non-stop from those two cities. But if you're flying out of Ottawa or Quebec, this is ideal. And if you're leaving from the Atlantic provinces this is one of the best prices I've ever seen so far ...
Also you can catch the early cherry blossom in early march in Tokyo but you can't climb Mount Fuji yet as it is still closed!
