Not sure if this fare is an error or just a very good sale. You hit 3 major destinations in Asia for the price of one.

With the protest going on, it is probably the worst time to travel to HK

Protest shouldn't really affect tourists. Some tourists may actually prefer to visit at this time just to take in the protest.

The occupy protests are non-violent in nature and peaceful, and might possibly be the BEST time to visit Hong Kong to see what's going on.

On the other hand, the crackdowns are starting soon, and anti-occupy protestors are starting to come out

Tourists interviewed on local news says they are unaffected by the occupy protests. They were shopping in Mongkok on streets that were business as usual, just steps away from the blocked main intersection (Argyle st. and Nathan rd.)

Ithought is ok to Visit kongkong right now. Only one or two hundreds people insist to continue Protest, will not effect tourist.
Simple is the best.

For people on the fence. Fare just dropped another $100 from last night. $1060.36 all in. Longer connection though.

If you meant the itinerary, they're separate stop overs at each destination. You get the standard one connection for flying through the US on international routes.

I just came back from Hong kong. It's a lot more than that, but it's truly a site to see. I think it was an amazing thing to actually witness what may be an important part of Chinese history. Also the only place it affects is a small part of central and Mong kok. Every other place in Hong Kong is business as usual.
