You should get into MCM. They usually respond late. My son just finished 1st year of Life Science. He got accepted to Waterloo in 1st round, but he went to MCM, they accepted him (July) in 2nd round.

Also, click on life sci and life science tags. There are few threads from previous years or even more than a decade ago about life science. I cannot tell if they give you historical information about the field, though.
