Awesome deal, this year they actually added 1 TB to their last year Block deal and kept the same price.
Just bought 1.5 TB. Their Europe server are slow but with less content take downs.
Setup with US server if you want speed.

Incredible deal. Too bad I signed up for Usenetserver for a year awhile back.

Because of DMCA takedowns, it has been awhile since I downloaded anything from Usenet. I've gotten substantially more value from the free VPN from Usenetserver. Despite paying for Newsgroups since 2004, I think when my 1 year is over, I am done.

How fast is the vpn. I am currently using Tweaknews and the vpn is unusable. Very slow. I also have a PIA vpn. Would be good if I don’t have to pay again for PIA.

Anyone already with them could chime in how does their block plan works? Once I exhausted my quota, do I get to renew the same tier at the same deal price? Or it's over and I will then need to purchase additional block at regular price?

You need to purchase additional block most likely at regular price. i usually buy enough every year during black Friday deal to cover my annual usage. currently i have my eye on usenetexpress as well. My advice : forget about all unlimited plans buy 3 TB from thundernews + another 500 GB from usenetexpress to combat all the take downs & missing articles.

Ok newbie question here. I'm planning to proceed with Thundernews but am not clear on what level of service I should sign up for. They have unltd USENET,for a yearly/monthly fee and then I gather I am supposed to add a block like 3TB. Is that a lifetime block/quota or does it expire after a year??
