Upgrading a Subaru Forester STI Exhaust - any tips?

I saw this video comparing most Subaru Forester STI exhaust but still cannot decide.

[...]

Any tips on the best for Subaru Forester STI exhaust? hp? sound?

I would appreciate hearing from those that already upgraded their exhaust.

You'd probably have a better time getting answers on a Subaru forum. Have you searched NASIOC?

What are you driving now? Why get an STI exhaust? Why not custom? Are you running a custom tune or COBB?

The problem is that the STI in general is a turbo'd vehicle not NA (unless that's different JDM land and they never put a snail in it), so swapping the turbo back on an NA motor wont work unless you are just doing an axle back than it's most likely doable but is it even worth it?

Mod your car as you like OP.

I'm a big fan of Fujitsubo exhaust. My Super-Ti is excellent quality and quiet as I like it.

Both my HKS Ti-Limited and buddy's HKS SpecR Titanium on his GTR fell apart. Mine at the hanger weld and his muffler to tip weld failed. I wouldn't recommend HKS to anyone.

I would find a subie forum for other owners. Forester STi are rare, I doubt anyone on these forums will have one.

The stock exhaust sounds the best out of the options in the video. The last fujitsubo sounds okay too.

This, should be apparent given we never got the Forester STi here.

The problem with exhaust videos is that for the most case like this one, it wasn't professionally done so I dont recommend any of them unless you've heard them in person.

Go to subaru meet or subaru hookup spot in your local city and talk the guys with your like minded vehicle and see what sounds good to you because you might change your mind and if you get a Forester STI exhaust imported from Japan you might not like it and just wasted your money this is why a custom exhaust might be better option. Especially on a NA vehicle, it could just sound annoying where as a Turbo'd vehicle can sound completely different.

I personally have an STI and I find that the stock exhaust was nice for as long as it was but modded it slightly and also have it tuned so it's perfect for me. I dont need the constant done or annoyance of the boxer rumble 24x7 or drone at certain RPM's. There have been many times where I've wanted to change out my exhaust but that means I need to get re-tuned for that exhaust but with an NA you might able to get away with not having to worry about tuning.

Isn't Forester what soccer moms drive?? Why would they need different exhaust? For selfies and instagram??
