You should contact Home Depot and let them know that it was mistakenly delivered to the wrong location. They can investigate with UPS and will either re-send the order to you or give you a refund.

Post on RFD and Reddit - do not email or call the retailer who actually sold you the item.

They are usually good at dealing with issues if you contact them directly.

UPS has an option in its customer service line for packages that show delivered but aren't there. You can call them if it's on the same day that your package was said to have been delivered and they'll investigate what happened and see if there's a possibility to recover the idem and redeliver it. Having said that, I think that's more a matter of the driver dropped it off at 19 Main Street instead of 90 Main Boulevard or something. But you're talking about different provinces. How is that even possible? You can file a claim with UPS here https://www.ups.com/ca/en/help-center/c ... pport.page but I think Home Depot might be a better option.

Remember that with covid 19 impacting the number of people who can work and the number of additional orders, odds of getting through to home depot (or really any store) is much lower than before. It might be frustrating but its just facts of what is going on now.

Your only options are trying to call HD or UPS and explain it to them again. Hope you don't get disconnected again. It will take a long time. If after a few days you can't get a solution from either company, try calling your credit card company and explaining what happened. That way they can at least put a note on file in case it takes longer than the purchase window for you to find a solution. You credit card might also do a charge back for you.

Did you order it online? If you did, I doubt the staff at your local store can help you out.

At this point, UPS wouldn't do much, since I suppose it's already marked as delivered. It's better that you contact Home Depot customer support directly by phone. You can also contact them by text to THDCA (84322).

Hard to do on text. It says they will contact me within 5 days
I contacted through phone the third time mentioning the first two ignored me. She said it's weird that it got delivered to different province. She gave me a ticket number and they will contact me again.
