Travel Bank expiry is reset to 2 years from the date of cancellation under their new COVID policy, meaning you can book/cancel to get a new expiry date.dktortor wrote: ↑ Thank for the reply! It was Travel Bank in this case, and yes, it looks like the rules say that if you cancel a flight using Travel Bank or WJD, everything goes back to original form of payment, including original expiry.

Travel Bank has a temporary policy in place where expiry will be 24 months from the date of flight cancellation, meaning if you re-book and cancel (call to cancel via the contact centre is safest, since the automated system sometimes messes this up), they will re-issue a new expiry date.dktortor wrote: ↑ So that would be good news (turns out I apparently can still use the travel bank dollars until the end of today).
When I read this it makes it sound like everything would revert back to original expiry (meaning, booking, cancelling, and then hoping for more travel banks would be pointless). But I guess it's a little vague in that it doesn't say what happens if you purchase with expiring travel bank dollars.

Thanks for this. Have you done this before? Alternatively, you can simply transfer it to a family member/friend for free, and it'll also get a new expiry.
