Used BRZ

I was looking at used BRZ on AT and came across this...

Is this for real? "So sore edition"? 1 of 100 in North America? :D

I also like the "Great car for someone looking to have 80% of a Porsche 911 at 20% of the price! ".... LOL

Yeah, it looks like an Aozora edition, which retails for $31k. Perhaps the seller is trolling Autotrader?

If it is Aozora Edition, then it definitely isn't 1 of 100 in North America... I've seen at least 10 of these together in Canada at a meet and I'm sure there are many more of them stateside.

Edit: googled it. Canada got 200 Aozora's, US got 1000. So maybe this "so sore" edition is something else(perhaps a Chinese knockoff Aozora?)

40k for used BRZ is blasphemy in any case.. Lol..

What's so special about the Aozora? Looks almost the same as any other to me.

This is an Aozora edition. I don't understand what the seller means by So sore. Trouble is the Aozora edition I think sold for roughly $32-34K new I forgot the exact price. This owner is banking on the edition's rarity, which I'm afraid is kind of a stupid thing. If they're selling it for $28K, then that's a fair price considering its mileage.

Aozoras come with a lot of additional aero bits like the lip spoiler, side skirts, etc. It comes with STi wheels. The main thing that's definitely different though is the blue coloured seats and blue alcantara which is normally red on regular cars. I personally wouldn't get it and just opt for a regular BRZ Sport-tech. Aozora edition cars only come in 2 colours, white and the world rally blue.

You can laugh a bit harder. $40K+taxes on registration+license = mid $45K

True. This ain't no 1990s when high schoolers are impressed with entry level sporty cars. Too many ballers now have AMG and M cars themselves they'd laugh at your peasant ass.

When I was in high school I'd see guys probably in their 20s or may be even 30s with their Fox body or Iroc Z's trying to pick up high school girls... lol. Time and GOLD DIGGING standards sure have risen. Booyah!
