Used car, car plate doesn't match permit plate

Colour error is one thing. Having plates on the car that don't match the ownership is a completely other issue.

I'd walk away from this one.

This just seems sketchy...

I drove a vehicle for 5yrs never noticing the spinner at the MOT got the registration wrong she wrote red when the car was GREEN. Never thought to look at it... Only interaction with the police was when some young gunner backed into me in the middle of the street. He was picking up the speakers for his groom's dinner and wedding the next day.

Police officer she never noticed or said boo about it. Neither did the body shop or insurance company that repaired the bumper...

I only noticed when I dropped car off to be scrapped by the place I was buying a new vehicle with. Once the owner of the dealership verified the plate and vin matched they had no issue. LOL

A different plate though that is a whole other thing. I would not want to be caught by the computer in a cruiser unless it is the same make and model of car the other plate is from.
