How big is the house? We have a cordless model that we love but I don't think it would be as appropriate for a very large home.

Not a vacuum, but really does the job on hardwood floors. And, at that price it's unbeatable.

We have this one: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/sh ... g/14470320 but any of the Shark cordless are great. We only have 1500 square feet though so the 45 minute run time is enough for us. If you like the idea, I would suggest choosing a model with a removable battery and buying a second battery so you can always have one charged and use both to do the whole house. Some models also have longer run-times, period. That said, I find I don't necessarily do a big vacuum anymore. It's so light and easy to move around the house, I just do rooms as they need it or whenever I have a specific mess. Would *never* go back to a corded vacuum.

Someone posted that the Shark Rocket Pet Pro was on sale at Costco for $240 which seems to be one of the best value if you care about hair getting stuck and having a HEPA filter.
