I agree people should be “frugal” but that’s relative to your wealth.

Thanks OP. I’m not typically into Valentino stuff, but decided to look around since there was a discount (still didn’t find anything though).

I agree with the idea of spending within your means. I’m not clearing $50k/month or anything near that, but I can still appreciate 40-50% off regular priced items, whether that’s a luxury product or a fast food chicken sandwich.

Some of these items though... this isn’t a complaint with just Valentino, but I’ve noticed several brands just plastering their brand name (not even a logo) in very plain font across an otherwise generic item (like a shirt, bag, wallet, etc), then charging a boatload of money for it. That’s just cheap, tacky, and lazy. I get that different people have different tastes, and bright colours/showing off brand names is popular with social media culture. But they’re not even trying with some of these products, and it just cheapens the overall image of the brand.

If you know you can't afford these type of brands why bother coming to the thread and complain about the price?
These luxury items are considered to be not expensive for many people out there who make extraordinary amounts of income each month, these prices for them are just small change.
