I had a similar problem that year.. I got a $100 Vanilla MasterCard for Christmas and when I checked the balance it had $0 on it. Took 2 weeks of back and forth with the company before finally got the funds. Many other people have not been so lucky. So just make sure to save all receipts if you decide to get one.
