I got a case of this and its a fantastic West Coast IPA. The review by Drunk Polkaroo does a good job of explaining the flavour. It's hoppy, piney and very easy drinking for my liking.

I personally prefer their Space Invader. (which is even cheaper btw, $57.95 - https://shop.amsterdambeer.com/products ... ml-25-pack )

boneshaker is good, but I dont know why, maybe because it's unfiltered, it doesn't go as nicely.

Boneshaker is my favourite IPA but you're right, it doesn't go down well. I tend to feel more bloated than usual when drinking Boneshaker.

MISSISSAUGA
I ordered a case and it arrived in two days. My wife and I both enjoyed it enough that I ordered a second case while it's on sale. At the current price it's about 90 cents a can less than the LCBO.

I'm in South Mississauga and placed orders with NickelBrook, Stonehooker, Great Lakes, and Steam Whistle. They've all been really good through the process....I read that more than half of craft brewers revenue is from their taprooms which area all closed. I'm not eating out but this is my way to contribute to locals. Happy to give these guys a try too - open to others that'll deliver for a reasonable purchase as well.

Nice post except I can no longer think about work, could really use a beer now.

As far as the delivery, who is delivering? Does this actually come to your front door or does it end up at the post office?

Thanks for that DrunkPolkaroo link - I was holding off as I worried it was not a piney resinous IPA but he confirms it is - in for one!

I'll have to try this. Goose Island hopiness is my gauge for as far as I'll go for bite. Boneshaker is good, but only for one. Too much bite and as others said, just doesn't go down well.

Also, for those in Ottawa, there are many craft breweries doing local delivery. Much rather buy direct and cut out the LCBO and not have to leave the house. Plus, beer....mmmm.

Not 100% sure, but I believe it's brewery staff doing the deliveries (at least in the GTA), not going through Canada Post. You could always call them to ask: 905.849.8282

Oh man, do I ever miss Boneshaker and Mad Tom. Sure, there are great beers on the West coast, but there's something to be said about the beers that I had back in school (Amsterdam was at the foot of Bathurst, and sold 25 beer cases for $30... the glory days!)

My favorite West coast IPA (almost as good as Boneshaker - only 6.9%) is... https://www.stonebrewing.com/beer/year- ... /stone-ipa
