The coupon booklet (which is actually a tear away plastic card attached to the GC) is also a hit and miss when I tried to use it at 3 of their restaurants. 2 out of three restaurants didn't know how to use the plastic card (they have to swipe it into their terminal) and when I pushed, they just gave me $10 off one entree. The manager at the third restaurant had been properly trained and was able to apply the discount.PierreS299131 wrote: ↑ Went to Montana’s to pickup an Ultimate Dining Card and $175 Coupon Savings booklet as I have in the past.
Restaurant manager says they carry the coupon booklets only during certain promotional periods like pre-Christmas. The most recent period ended June 30. During that period you’d actually get $250 in Coupon Savings just for buying a $25 GC.
On his phone he showed me the website for Ultimate Dining Card and noted their current promo (the one for $175 shown in this thread) is available at “Participating Retailers” but neither he nor the website provided a list of these retailers.
He suggested Safeway but wasn’t at all sure. There’s a Safeway on the same block so it was quick to go check.
Safeway sells the cards but has no coupon booklets and Customer Service doesn’t know if they’re a participating retailer.
The Flipp app didn’t point to any store’s flyers currently offering the deal.
I’ll check SDM next but will probably just give up on trying.
Way to Go Ultimate Dining Card.
It gave me a bad impression after what was a nice meal to have to wait another 30 minutes to argue with the waitress/manager and then pay and leave.
