Does anyone know when the 20 000 points for $200 ultimate dining card will be awarded. I purchased the cards this morning and the points were not automatic.

Flyer mentioned in the foot note that points will be awarded by Oct 11

Really need Sobeys to offer 150AM for $150GC. I think it's usually in the fall and spring. Can anyone confirm?

Last time I bought gift cards from RCSS I was awarded the 15,000 per $100 right away. Bought 3 X $100 and 4 X $50. Didn't matter the amount. I would assume it's the same for Shopper's but can't tell you definitively.

Looks like this deal is getting worse!
Usually 20000 points for $100, then it becomes 30000 points for $200 and now only 20000 points for $200 in gift cards.
I would wait as this deal comes very often, hopefully at better bonus points, if we all stop buying at the current offering level!
They are definitely testing how low they can go!!!

When I looked at the flyer, ultimate dining was in the picture but in the text it was service inspired restaurants.

Don't know if this is a super deal but I bought one to test it out...

CARP members (got my free membership through Zoomer Wireless) can purchase the following items for $195:
(i) $200 Esso Gift Card and
(ii) Price Privileges fuel savings card good for 2.5 cents off / litre for 1000 litres ($25 value)

Total value $225

It's usually not a great idea to generalize from the grocery store side of PC Optimum to the Shoppers side since there are significant differences in how they operate. They are more like two separate programs under one umbrella, and there's also the PC MC side, which is even more separate.

They were not awarded automatically and yes, I have purchased from RCSS and they generally award automatically.

I agree with the comments above me, it's as if they're two completely different companies and reward points differently

(1) I don't think the ones you just pick up from any Esso come pre-loaded with any sort of discount. You have to earn the discounts by making fuel purchases, car-wash purchases, in-store purchases, etc.

And (2) you are not paying for it. It comes with the $200 gift card that you are buying for $195.

The Google Play gift card promo they a couple week ago was 10k points for each 50$ gift card (I got all the points).
I don't remember what was written in the flyer though.

Does anyone know for the RCSS' Uber gift card and Optimum points promotion if it all has to be in one transaction or can I buy some now and if I need more, buy more next week before the promotion is over?

I don't know if other stores still do but my local Esso station still had 2.5c card last month. This has been distributed for free for very long time. You are basically only getting $5 discount on GC which I would consider very low since if you have one of those credit cards gets 5% from grocery store, you will be getting $10 in return for buying $200 GC from grocery.

if it is in the flyer, then it is unlimited times during the promotion time.
