1. Have you received this Amex Tap to Pay offer on same or different Amex in previous years?

2. Just realized this offer also includes contactless payment via card reader vs Mobile Wallet only so this offer seems randomly targeted?!

p.s. if you received new Shop Small on Biz card and Tap to Pay Offer on same card = stacking opportunity!

Got the spend $5 get $2 up to 10 times my Bonvoy AMEX Card

Does anyone know if tapping on the GO presto device will also consider as contact-less payment? trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone using this offer and the presto offer. I know GO only deducts $3.70 on the presto cards on initial tap which won't meet the $5 minimum for this offer, not sure how it works using a credit card

Got it on Aeroplan for P1 and Aeroplan for P2, not on cobalt and not complaining.

I assume this will work at any business that accepts AMEX? The terms just says participating businesses but doesn't offer that crappy map link they had for previous offers to find participating businesses.

Start using your AMEX card more? It is the whole point of AMEX providing you these offers so that you use their cards more.

Got the exact same offer as you. Having all these Amex cards is really paying off this year.

Scotia Gold Amex: $10, 10 times, and earn a $20 credit.
Simply Cash: $5, earn $2 credit. Up to 10 times.
Aeroplan Reserve: No offer

Nothing on my Cobalt or Gold

It says at participating businesses so does anyone know which businesses are qualified for this ? Last year I remember similar offer was for small businesses so I wonder if it qualify for big grocery stores like Walmart, FreshCo, RCSS, FoodBasics, NoFrills etc or not.

It's not just via the app. You can simply tap with your card.

Contactless payment is defined as tapping your registered Card on the card reader or paying with your registered Card through an eligible mobile wallet (Google Pay¹, Apple Pay² or Samsung Pay³).

I have the NF SimplyCash but I see OP’s offer on mine as well.

10 times purchase is charged in the same store? is it OK?
