Going to Vagas sometime this winter (from near Toronto). Any good deals (round trip/one way) for flying there?

Winter is off season. The flights will be limited. Flights from Ottawa suck. Finding a deal will be tough.
I suggest getting on Expedia or something like it and look for flight and hotel deals. That would be your best bet.

In some cases, the savings might only end up being $75 or $100 a ticket. If you're a couple, does it make sense driving two hours each way just to save $200?

The OP is from Ottawa, going to the states tofly would take a lot of time, a lot of gas and in Winter, it may not be a fun trip.

Hmm - different than here (Edmonton). Drive to Spokane (12 hrs), overnight in a hotel that lets you park free, fly to Vegas for 3 days & return. Save $200 each - allowing for exchange, time and expenses

Just checked Google maps, it is a 22 hr drive from Edmonton LOL.

You're wasting two days of your vacation to save $200 each. You're each saving $8.33 an hour.
