Vehicle Recommendation?

Here is my criteria, this will be a second vehicle:

Price: 8-11k before tax, cash payment
Size: needs to fit 3 kids in the back, ages between 10-2
Cargo room: needs a hatch for large cargo and a dog on occasion
Most important: reliability over next four years - I don't want something that is going to be prone to repairs
Looks: don't care
Make model: don't care

These criteria lead me to CUVs and most of what I see in the price range are Journeys, Equinox, Jeep, Rogue, etc. when I narrow down to 2010 and up. Without filtering for year there are a bazillion options.

Any specific recommendations in terms of make/model/year and what to watch out for? Thanks.

Rav4 V6.

If you can do with less seating room, Toyota Matrix with a rooftop cargo box.

I'd stay away from domestic especially Chrysler if the reliability over next 4 year is a concern, and you're looking for a used.

I know not much about cars , but if two of your kids are small and still require the booster/car seat, I would make sure the car could fit the two seats plus your 10 year old comfortably .

Thanks I'll check it out.

I'm also considering leasing something new under $500 tax in. Saw a deal on the CX5 that seems to fit criteria as well
