Velbon Tripods
Has anybody use a Velbon tripod? I was looking at the Ultra 6603Q and was wondering if this brand is quite comparable with other better brands out there.

Looks very similar to a Mefoto/Fotopro.

I have a Velbon Luxi III and love it for it's portability and quick setup. It's more of a in-city temperate tripod.

If in more rugged environmental conditions, I'd use a Mefoto Roadtrip.

I don't have any experience with this model in particular. I do, however, have a Velbon Sherpa 250 which I bought in 2003. I have been very happy with it.

Thank y'all for your input. A friend of mine just bought the Velbon Ultra 6603Q and was asking me whether I was interested in getting one as well. I haven't heard of this brand before only that it is a Japanese one? Anyhow, I am not in any rush to get a tripod at the moment but if I do I will consider this brand as well.
